Golden� Fluid Interference Acrylic, 4 oz., Interference Red

Interference fluid colors feature varying colors when viewed from different perspectives; they flip between a bright opalescent color and its opalescent complement when applied over white surfaces. A highly intense, permanent acrylic color with a consistency similar to heavy cream, this paint from Golden Artist Colors® offers the pigment strength of Golden heavy body acrylics in a pourable, low viscosity formula. Over darker surfaces, the bright opalescent color is very noticeable, but the interference effect is not evident. Combine with small amounts of color to achieve unique color ranges, mix with gels for impasto effects or thin with mediums for glazing applications. When a very small amount of black is added, this color produces deeper, richer, opalescent effects.
